Już dawno nikt tu niczego nie napisał ani nie skomentował. Dyskusja o reaktywacji kina Gloria jakby przycichła. Górę wzięli oportuniści. Czyżby entuzjastom opadły skrzydełka? A może ten, mam nadzieję, że chwilowy, brak wiary i determinacji jest spowodowany brakiem klarownych i jednoznacznych działań odpowiedzialnych urzędników, którzy powinni zdobyć co najmniej mistrzostwo Regionu, w umiejętnym i skutecznym zwalczaniu społecznych inicjatyw? Nie będę pisał o decyzjach bytomskich władz czy raczej ich braku. Po prostu szkoda gadać. Jak to się kiedyś mówiło: ?szkoda czasu i atłasu?. Lepiej skupić się na pozytywnym działaniu.
Ponownie jestem w Bytomiu aby uczestniczyć w organizowanym przez Fundację Kino Gloria, wspólnie z BCK-iem, pokazie filmów dokumentalnych Katarzyny Masin. Jest to już druga impreza organizowana przez nas, poprzednia odbyła się w październiku ubiegłego roku gdzie prezentowaliśmy film pt. ?Przystanek Indie? grupy ?O Co Chodzi??. I tym razem sala Akwarium, Bytomskiego Centrum Kultury, była pełna. Przez trzy godziny siedzieliśmy, z wypiekami na twarzy, oglądając i słuchając arcyciekawych opowieści archeolog z wykształcenia, gdynianki z urodzenia i zamieszkania oraz pasjonatki kultur obu Ameryk, z jej wypraw do Peru. Poza dużą wiedzą i umiejętnością jej przedstawienia, Katarzyna Masin ma jeszcze jeden, wielki talent godny podziwu. To ogromna pasja, która nie pozwala przejść słuchaczowi obojętnie. Jej charyzmatyczna osobowość wciąga nawet opornych. Po chwili nikt już nie chce uronić nawet najmniejszego kawalątka opowieści.
Celowo Fundacja Kino Gloria wraz z Bytomskim Centrum Kultury zapraszają i promują osoby z pasją. Ten dar szczególnej motywacji, te emocje, to najbardziej deficytowy towar w Bytomiu i chyba na całym Górnym Śląsku. Chcemy pokazać, że bez tej szczególnej łaski emocjonalnej determinacji niczego w życiu osobistym czy zawodowym nie można osiągnąć. Chcemy pokazać, że człowiek, który ma wolną wolę i może samodzielnie dokonywać wyborów, winien te wybory poprzeć, oprócz merytorycznej wiedzy, także emocjonalnym zaangażowaniem, w takim stopniu, w jakim jest to możliwe. Tylko wtedy działanie ma sens i pozytywny skutek. Tylko wtedy łatwiej pokonywać przeciwności i kłopoty i tak skorygować działanie aby stawało się bardziej skutecznym i zyskiwało coraz szerszy krąg sojuszników.
Mamy nadzieję, że to nam się udało przekazać i spowodować, że w tym, 2009 roku, wszystkie nasze zamierzenia i plany wsparte pasją będą skutecznie zmieniały naszą bytomską rzeczywistość, czego Czytelnikom i sobie serdecznie życzę.
